It's been a pretty slow year for me, but the last two weeks I have been doing pretty good on the panfish with my flyrod!

Also got lots more like these....

13" crappie

Another crappie, this one was just under 15"...

Decent perch, just under 12"

I even managed two fish on the same rod!

I'm all catch and release but those crappie look yummy, great post !!!

I usually only catch and release at this place since its a small pond, but I'm real tempted to take a few for a meal lol. So far I've let them all go.

went out on 5-18 and caught the biggest bass of my life it weighed in at 4lbs and 9ounces and was 21 inches caught at a private lake
also caught a 18 inch bass with a baby duck sticking out of its throat

Bass, crappie, and bluegill are what I'm typically after at this pond. There are also a few perch, cats and a grass carp or two.

All this fishing is making me itch, maybe I'll head in NJ for a few practice throws this weekend. Before I head on to FLORDIA for some GREAT TOPWATER and Worming ACTION in search of a trophy Bass. I'm hoping this trip I'll get to do some fishing on the Atlantic coast also, and with any luck do some saltwater fishing too.

hit the pier tonight with my boy matt. caught a few cats biggest one was 5lb 12oz, tried to hoss it over the railing and it broke my rod, i was pissed. my fault though. 3 other fish over 4 lbs. the storms and rain we fish in must of brought em out.
