Nice catches everyone!

I also went out today. Overcast, nothing very interesting was caught. I caught 3 Black Crappie, which is a lot for one day here, and a few Bluegills. Wasn't the best day ever. But, I talked to a nice guy there, and told me some spots to try out for some nice catfish. There is supposedly a 3 foot long albino catfish in the reservoir, and he said it might be a channel, estimated at 10 pounds. I think that sounds like it would be a fun fish to catch!
 
Fish landed-12

5-21 was a 6 hour boat trip out to "Lake Mercer". The started off slow but the males were EVERYWHERE doing their fatherly stuff, either protecting beds or watching over fry. Some of them would pick the dinger up and just move it out the way. I was getting a liltte restless after about an hour and half in but I stayed calm cause the moon clock said between 3:30 and 5:30 was excellent time. Dam if it wasnt right cause around four o'clock the fishing got active. My first fish came in the form of a 4.9 that jumped right on the spinny !! After that I went on to bang five more, three more on the spinny, one on the chatter, and one on a 1.5 KVD. Big bruh banged 4 and let four get off at the boat all on the #5 Mepps. It was a decent day !!!

5-22 was a hour and half trip out my Robbinsville spot where I banged two decent two pounders on the chatter bait fishing it like a jig. Big bruh banged four little guys on the #5 Mepps. After dinner I went out to Rosedale for two hours. I banged four little dudes on the spinny but As I was making my rounds I got to witness a dude out there bang a 5.13 on a walk the dog topwater plug(wowzers) !!

A decent weekend of fishing !!!

Went out today with my dad. Once again, nothing special. We found our way across a small inlet to a spot where there were a lot of big fish jumping, we thought them to be carp. We caught nothing but bluegill and 1 or 2 perch. I hope the fishing here picks up soon!
 
Just, idk what y'all are doing but May is one of three best months to catch monster bass but I will say you have to be out there at the right times of the day. Anyway good luck on ur future trips !!
 
went again tonight.

caught 3 bluegills, 1 yellow perch, 2 white perch, 1 bullhead, and a handful of channel catfish, and a big ol eel. nice to have vareity. my girlfriend had never really seen a yellow perch and thought it was the prettiest damn thing. nice to see her getting excited about fishing. didnt stay late so no monsters too brag about.
 
Here is a pic from a couple weeks back. Both fish were caught on live shrimp under a popping cork with 6lb test and 10lb fluro leader. Sadly that was the last time I got go fishing. I am planning a deep water trip Sunday but with a forecast of 3-5s might not go out that far maybe just stay within 15 miles or so.
