Also on that trip i caught a mooneye that was about 14 or 15 inces and a 9.12lb northern and a walleye at 3.15lb

Went out again, nothing excellent today, but now i'm seeing 3-4 lb LMB cruising the shallows again, i'm pretty confident that the lake has returned back to normal now.
Well my fishing season sucks,and it looks like its continue to suck for a long time.
For a start,my usual fishmate has sold his boat and decided to quit due to the short amount of time for fishing.
Then there is another friend of my I ussually fish with and you have seen on various pics,but he only wants to fish when te wheater is extremely good.
Normally I'll fish from one of their boats,because I dont have a place to store a boat I'f I Would wanted to buy one.
And to make matters worse,are my topfishing sports for fishing without a boat almost fishless.
We had A really bad winter,And all the cityparks where covered with ice and snow for weeks following,resulting in low oxygenlevels and all fish to die over 12-14inch.
haven't caught a single pike in waters I ussually catch 5-6 northerns a day.
So now,my only spots are a place for deadbait-fishing in the centre of town,and the canals in my town which are full of garbage so you easily get stuck.
Went searching for new spots today and caught 2 small northerns on a entire day(9hours),hope Ill find better spots soon.

I had a good day out on the water today, my buddy who was suppose to go with me was sick and since he doesn't fly fish i decided to tae the chance to fish one of my favorite spots that is open to fly fishing only
the morning was slow and cold and I went through about 25 flies before I matched what they were feeding on, or at least some were, caught a few small ones and a few hours later things warmed up and became much more productive, caught about a dozen small ones and half a dozen around 8-12 inches
and one at 15" and 14" both sea run brookies which love to rip line off of your reel no matter the size

i went fishing at the lake yesterday, was there for just over 3 hours, tried spinnerbaits, poppers, suspend minnow , jigs, shallow diving lures, soft plastics aswell as shrimp and nothing, its been like this since the floods. My guess is a tonn of fish got swept over the dam wall and in to the river, id try fishing the river but its closed season right now. Its frustrating to be honest as this lake was a prime fishing spot for bass, yellowbelly, perch, barra etc and im just not getting or seing anything. its the nearest place to fish for me and i have a permit to fish there so ill just have to keep trying.

Fish landed-21(one blue gill)
-15th I landed one at Stacy park......
-16th I landed one at Bakers basin......
-17th was my Friday night fishing adventure and cause of the storm the bass were mostly suspened and MAN it made for a tough night. I still was able to land 11 but nothing major. Dennis landed 4 and his 2.7 was the biggest !
19th was a boat trip out to Farrington with the co-founder of Fishaddix.com. His name is James and every once in while he calls me to come join him on his boat. Was on the water at 11am and fished until 3. I banged a small bass and a really aggessive blue gill that smacked my popper. James landed one on a worm !
20th was a after work stop with my co-worker/friend at the college of NJ. I banged 6 on a popper !!!
21st was a quicky(40 minutes) at a little pond in Hamilton right before dark. I banged 3 on the popper and my nephew got one on the buzzy !!!!
Nothing major but no skunks !!!!

on a bomber 4A lure which was supposed to be a Basskiller in the U.S.
The other one is a 30inch almost 11lbs zander I caught tonight on a Clackin Rap which I also orderd from the U.S.
It's the biggest zander I personally caught in 2years,and it's close to my record whats 32inch. Al my hours of fishing finally pay out in some nice fish.

i caught 5 total bass from5 inches to 14 inches
the person who went with me (ryanj612) caught 2 bass and a green sunfish
caught them at 2 private lakes caught them on rubber worms and rapala crankbaits
probably going out again today for cats bass and the place im going to has big koi so maybe if i get lucky one of them to
