Got back from a week up at a Boy Scout summer camp called Camp Turrell. They have a beautiful lake there with a massive population of largemouth and monster bluegills. I entered the tournament that they have there every year, and came in 1st with 10 nice bass all above 3/4 lb. and a 1/2 lb. Pumpkinseed all on a Gulp plastic worm! Everyone else in the tournament only caught 2-3 fish, so I blew the competition away!

got a nice 6lb channel last night amd lots of bites. I figured the rain might of got them feeding more aggessively but i guess not
probably both... .keep at it CF im bout to try again sometime this week too, hoping johnson is nicer than it was last week (in quanity at least)
Nah no skunk, D and I both caught two. I had one bite before dark that was able to get off and three bites in the dark but I only landed two. D got one in the dark and one once the sun came up. Before going home we stopped and fished this little pond in Princeton, where we both landed one.
Are night fishing spot usually always stays clear(water) but due a heavy storm the water had about 12"s of clarity. I believe that was the problem, also the water was 85 when we got there and it never got cooler then 80.1. I dont think the water temp was the issue, it was the clarity.
got a 10lber and few others before the storms rolled in last night.
next biggest was only like 5 lbs, but i had to leave for the rain hit or i would of been washed away lol.
