caught some channels tonight, most between 4+6lbs. no monsters, no babies either. Dad did get a blue cat which are extremely rare in our parts. feels good to catch something for a change
there ya go man i can feel the change of the tide, time for us all to get back to fishin how we usually do 
heading to the coast tomorrow, targeting flounder on the ICW for a few hours then moving to the surf to give a shot at the pompano and blues.... hopefully can get some hooks set

Well, 2 days away from a week long trip in my fishing paradise! Just purchased a baitcaster reel, never used one, so I'm excited to give it a shot!
fished for a little bit in a private pond behind a house that I was working on and caught 8 nice bass in about an hour all 1-3 pounds with most being closer to 3. all were caught on a black and blue chatterbait with a black craw trailer. hopefully getting on the cats in the next couple nights.

must be on a winning streak. hit the pier tonight, got about 6 channels biggest at 6lb 11oz and a small flathead. feels good man
