FISHING SEASON 2K11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well CF if i combine fresh and saltwater i just barely have you beat! haha, when it freezes man get down here and we can find some fish somewhere

Tequila, I am thinking you are likely talking about a grass carp based on the ponds and lakes you've been fishing. They are legal to handle but must be released. Love to see pics. Maybe snook or tarpon and same goes for those. Looks like you are having an awesome trip.

Not quite, think more along the line of Wally!
:popcorn:

Just counted up my catches for the year, it came in at 493.........

T, Jersey JAck said to tell you that though this has been one of his slower years fishing. Do to injuries and traveling he's only fished and average of 3 days a week and yesterday he caught his 1,000 Bass for the year!
:headbang2

sheesh i wish i had the time to fish 3 days a week, i went twice a week in the spring and since june only went a grand total of maybe 6 times and i managed right at 153 this year

Tequila I'm interested especially since I frequently travel around fl fishing. No fish is illegal to catch and handle, just the snakeheads are technically illegal to throw back, but I do anyways. Pm me if you'd like, I'd love to hear about it.

Since this new format I have know idea where the PM tab is. But I thought that you'd have figured it out when I described it as a Beast, a monster of unmatched power, here especially in Florida I thought for sure you would have known I did say I wasn't sure of the legality of it all, plus then I responded with a popular nick name for it - Wally! And you still didn't get it. Well let me just first say this, there is a long story behind what, how and why. Drum roll please................: Wally-gator-is-a-swinging-alligator-in-the-swamp. Please note while I don't make a habit of handling gators I will if theres a call for it. Tequila, the gator whisperer. Has a nice ring to it don't you think, maybe I can get my own Reality TV Show.
:ROFL::screwy:

Haha nice. I had a 6 ft gator get off at the dock there in oct. it didn't fight! I just drug it in as it floated on top. That's why your description didn't ring a bell haha

Well as people may or may not know yesterday a cold front came through and put a chill on the fishing and the fishermen too. We got a late start and where on the water by 8:30am instead of 7am. By 11:45am we were off the lake and heade to drop off the boat and then heade too in for a hot lunch we were cold. Our fish count was in the low 30's between the two of us. After lunch we went out on foot too a few other lakes. We called it a day at 5:30pm with a grand total of 63 Bass, 6 Bluegills and 1 tilapia between myself and JerseyJAck. Plus I lost a one Bass in the evening that spit the hook, that must have been every bit of 7lbs. But we had a good chilly time and I ended the day with 1 Bass over 5lbs, caught on a jig.

By the way the Tilapia hit a inline spinner, for a little while I thought I had a 10lbs Bass until I got it in.

Enjoy the pics, I return back to Hell today @ 10pm.
