went this mornin and caught 3 crappie bout 9" a little dink and a 4"er, also caught a little 11" bass which could end up being the last of the year. Caught all fish on an ultralight set to low drag on crappie minnows, didn't have anything so much as touch a spinnerbait/jerkbait/crank/jig all mornin'. had fun though thats what matters

yea, dont get CF started on catfishing, he might never go back to bass fishing once he realizes how much more fun it is
i may have to do some catfishing they're still catching small channels from 1lb all the way up to 8 or so lbs at a lake right down the road
Cat fishing is cool but it's a seat and wait game(I'm a power fishermen), its a better fight but not as rewarding to me.

Possibly my last boat trip of the of year started at 7:30 at "The Amazon". I broke the ice within the first half hour with a bass. Shortly after I got bit off by a monster CP
. From there Dennis landed two bass, two YP,and two CP and I landed 4 YP and 10 bass. The bite was pretty good all day cause together we missed atleast 6, some bit us off and others didnt make it in the boat.
If this it for the year it was a great way to go out !
