went tonight to a largely forgotten about baitspot. came home with over 40 sunfish of varying type (a good mix of pumpkin seed, longear, green, and bluegill) and size (2-7"). Bring on the flatcats!

it feels good having the bait ready to go doesnt it? That used to be the worst part about flathead fishing was having to go out and get bait before hand. Now I just enjoy fishing for it whenever I have time and use my bait tank. I will be hitting the river ALL WEEKEND!

unfortauntly i lost 90% of them last night, must of been too much stress. I still have the 20 something that were in there from before but still that sucks. that was alot of fish to die on me. i still have 2 weeks before the tournament, slow and steady wins the bait race i guess.
You should cut those who died of stress to pieces and put them in your freezer. You can use the chunks of fish later to lure the flats towards your bait.
