Went sundaymorning, although we where at are fishingrounds at 6am hoping to be the first(sun rises at 7.30) there where already 10-20 other fishermen out their trying to prove there luck. We managed to catch 9 pikes and a couple of perch in total which is our best trollingsession yet. However the avarage pike was only 16inch which was quite dissapointing. We also had a double hook-up which I ruined by helping my friend out netting his fish. Biggest dissapointment was finally hooking a big fish on the shadclone while my friend was at the controls, his jacked got stuck behind the outboard motor which was running slow and he accidently gave full gas for 4-5seconds resulting in the loss of the fish which was probably the biggest zander so far.
Did catch one nice fish on the shadclone in the early morning, this 31inch pike:

My girl landed this drum on Lake Ponchartrain last night. It is a good thing she did because she/we lost a monster bull red on the cast before this one. We both fought that monster on the seawall, but that sucker bent the jighead when she grabbed the landing net.

nice catches everyone!

went for flatheads for a couple hours tonight before the storms moved in. Landed an 8 pounder pretty quick and a buddy landed a 5 shortly after. Took about 20 more minutes for a sizeable fish to hit a big sucker fish and as luck would have it, I lost another potential PB, the third time this year and all in the same area. Moved spots and had no luck but it was short lived as the storms hit and I went running.
