FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

Nice Marlin,Drum and Smallmouth.
Went yesterday and caught my first whopper pike this season 38inch 16.8lbs:
Hooked the fish in the first minute of fishing.

It's just not fair... I used to live in Holland but wasn't old enough to go fishing back then.. Now I live in a region of Germany which has almost no bodies of water and it's very difficult to obtain a fishing license here
By the way, last time I visited my old friends in Holland, I was walking along a river which was completely full of fish.. Then I walked over a bridge, and under the bridge there were no fish at all. Then I thought, hey, what a strange log is that? Looking closely, I recognised it was a HUGE pike. And by huge, I mean well over a meter. Probably 1.2-1.3 meters! One of the most stunning sights I have ever seen

Ive been fishing hard lately, great time of year to be down here in paradise. Friday I landed a couple notable catches, my personal beast yak mahi and my personal best lane snapper. The lane snapper was very close to a state record.

Where did you use to live in Holland?
Huge pike from over one meter are sadly not very common in my area,there are a lot of people that prefer to fish for then and then eat them.
Although this is illegal there is a really smal chance being caught so most poachers can continue ruining fishing waters.
Besides that,most big pikes have been caught several times making them difficult to fool on fishing waters near my home.
I was realy happy I finally managed to catch one near my home,I ussually catch my big pikes on waters 20miles from my home.

Went fishing yesterday and landed a couple largemouths. Got this pretty big one on my kayak. . Took me a couple minutes to reel it in, as it was going crazy and jumping everywhere. There are more in my lake way bigger than this. I had one come up and snap the line mid air. I use 10 lb test and didn't think he could. This was the biggest one yet. There is a potential 10 pounder in my lake as we always see it jump and when we put him in there he was 8 pounds. Gonna try to catch him next weekend.

Flemming, the fish in your pictures are always great but what I really enjoy is seeing the landscape of your country. It looks so much nicer than our overdeveloped society over here.

only caught a 5lb carp and two small channels. My buddy mike caught a HUGE sof shelled turtle though. I will see if I can get the pics.

Nah, we turned him loose. I also caught a nice 3-4 pound bass. I'm trying to upload photo's...but my phone is a POS!
