FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

Dude, youre killing me always wanting to know weights on those little fish. Its a nice fish, dont get me wrong, but just have fun and dont always worry about that. If you catch a monster then by all means weigh it, but you dont really need to weigh every single little fish you catch.
You should definitely get yourself a scale so you get a better idea of what fish of each weight look like. However the stress that it puts on the fish doesnt seem worth it for the little fellas. You should have an idea how much a fish weighs by looking at it or holding it. It seems your estimates are still too high.

Nice reds Decker!!

Ya I'm gonna pick up a scale. When I get the 8 pounder then ill be happy lol

haha the way that you guess weights, that 8 pounder is really going to be like 3.5 pounds! Ill show you a pic of an 8 pounder, its massive! I hope you do catch one though, but you wont get it just by talking. Put in some time and get after it.

I never said the 8 pounder thing. That was my moms boyfriend who weighed it last time before he put it in the pond. I believe it was 8.05lbs. Probably grew.

This winter when my pond freezes over I will be going from hockey to ice fishing the whole winter break. Lol I haven't ice fished on my pond yet but I hear the ice fishing is amazing there.

I'm gonna be out on my kayak as much as possible going for those 8 pounders lol. Anything over 2 puts up a hell of a fight. Let alone an 8 pounder. I believe I hooked into a huge female that was spawning this weekend as I hooked it and all of a sudden it bent my medium action decently stiff rod like it was spaghetti lol. It jumped and took the line and spinner with it. Just my luck. I'm gonna pick up a 7' ugly stick and a baitcaster to give that a try. I'm debating whether or not to buy one. I'm definitely getting a baitcaster though. Just gonna pick up a decent $40 baitcaster to see if I like it and if I do I might get a good one.
