Any one been fishing lately?

The weather has been kind of bad here lately with strong winds keeping me off the yak. I did go yesterday and it was shark city. At one point I had at least a dozen sharks just following me around. Going to hit it tomorrow morning. I went to the pier today just to check things out and saw a sailfish free jumping along with bait just getting hammered about a half mile out. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow.

During the rough weather I did a bit of surf fishing. A couple of pomps, some good whiting and a few black drum. It wont be long until the surf fishing really picks up, cant wait.

I'm gonna go fishing tommorow don't know if bass will bite in the 70 degree range though

i wish i had the time to make it down to topsail island... they're literally catching reds 2 at a time on regular bottom rigs with good numbers of black drum, slot reds, specks, virginia mullet, and spots mixed in
