Nothing huge this weekend, rained a lot so I did some bass fishing to pass the time. Caught 14 bass in about 1 1/2 hours on black spinner, colorado blades, slow rolling, water was very muddy. Most of the bass were about to explode with eggs.

@JD - NICE spanish i have you beat on the turtle though... was fishing a dock on the ICW with my feet in the water when i felt something touch my foot, looked down it was a freakin monster sea turtle i bout lost it haha
@spadoc very nice good to get your daughter hooked on fishing, better than my first bass thats for sure!
@jp the fish died because he left them in a bucket with no air pump, shocker they didnt make it

I bought some of those!This is good to hear!Have to use them, but slowly as it isn't the warmest up here!
In other things, the night fishing under that Moon on Sat and Sun was great.Was dragging my 4a across the bottoms of in shore ledges.Caught seven in one spot Sat alone. The strikes are almost harder at night.

Well the mahi are getting bigger. I also caught a few more kings and a bobo for snapper bait. Cant beat living in paradise, fresh mahi dinner and not a dime spent on gas for the boat.
nice mahi... i bet you can't beat that we gotta go out 20+ miles easy to get into those guys here usually.

Mahi around here usually start getting thick eight to ten miles out. However, this year has been insane with all the sailfish and mahi catches close to the beaches.
