Kerr was very dissapointing. Tried all over the place, fishing shallow and deep. dropoffs and channels. And we only got 1 tiny bluecat my dad caught to show for it. Used large minnows from the bait shop, live and cut bluegills (easy to catch) and frozen shad from home.
I will go back this summer if i get the chance to fish for flatheads when i get more time and can spend a few days there instead of just a weekend.
My girlfriend did me proud though. Fished through the rain, the dark, getting lost in the dark, and got back up at the buttcrack of dawn to try it again before we had to go home and getting skunked to boot. Without one complaint.
Thanks! I thought i would give them a try and i catch alot of bass on them. I just texas rig them weightless with a 4/0 gamakatsu hook and i have had great success
Heres a bass i caught yesterday by surprise i saw a school of big size perch so i put this tiny lure on that you can cast about 5 feet and caught a bass. I dont know how the hook stayed in because there very small. Theres a picture of the lure next to a rat L trap
