got skunked yesterday but my friend i was fishing with caught a 5# a 3.2# and a 1.3# bass. I couldnt buy a hit
 
Just figured i'd drop in and tell all you fishing junkies that i get to finally start off my 2013 season with a fishing trip to Oahu, Hawaii! you could say that im really excited!
 
I got 1 rainbow yesterday about 14" and missed one. Day before was really good w/ 16 landed and several lost w/ 4 being broke off.

hoping to get back on the water again tomorow... one bass in my last 3 trips ;\

Caught a few bass over the weekend nothing too big, caught 4 (3-4lbers) and 1 (2lber), my old man was doing some pan fishing so did I but I only caught 15 bluegills all palm size, the old man caught a 1 (13" crappie), 8 blue gills averaging 1 lbs. Don't know how he does it but we call him the master of pan fishing. I broke off a carp too. Overall not a bad day. Got to the lake at 7:30am - left at 10:30am. This weekend planning on getting there a lil earlier and staying a lil longer.
 
Didn't have too good of a year on the ice but ill be open water soon for browns in Ontario and pike & smallys on conesus lake...
