Fishing season 2k14!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight I caught 30+ bluegills, some nice creek chubs, and 4 or 5 largemouth!

15 for 18 today. Awesome day out there on lake Ontario. Quite a few little 5lb Brown's & King Salmon. Took pics of the ones worth while.

Today was slow as he!!. Up at Lake Erie for the weekend, went out from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Hooked into 3 smallies but only landed one. Although I shouldn't complain considering it was 15-16 inches and 5 pounds flat!!! Also fished later on and somehow managed to snag a 2" emerald shiner on the stomach, what the heck are the odds of snagging such a slander bodied, small fish in such a huge lake XD.image.jpg

Well I didn't feel good about my fishing ability today. I went to abor every spot I knew of in end near presque isle and didn't get a hit. Used worms, minnows, and literally every single lure I had with me which was about 100. Anchored some places and trolled in other but couldn't get a hit. Then I say in the bay for 2 hours using lures and still nothing so a bass boat pulls up beside me using and pulls two out in the first minute. So I scouted out areas to shore fish and finally pulled in three decent bluegills about 7" each. Wasn't the fight of a bass but it was something anyway :).

New PB for me 40 pounds 14 oz. Slow trip overall though. Only managed 5 channels and this one flathead.

congrats on the pb! makes me twitch a little knowing the one i lost was around that size ;)
