Fishing season 2k14!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was good! Got a few gills, pumpkinseeds, green sunnies, a 7" LMB, and 6 yellow bullheads one of which was a fat 9" monster and another was skinnier but 10"!
lol XD. I feel bad when they swallow hooks, I couldn't bring it to myself to kill them as a catfish lover

I'm going to be a terrible flathead fisherman (which is my main target over the summer, that and channel cats) since I'm going to have it use live bluegills as bait where as with channel I can just cut up a carp. They were nice fights actually, my friend caught a 13" one tonight but I didn't get a good picture.Well, the fishing is finally starting to pick up here. Bass are moving into the beds pretty late this year, but they're finally showing up. Caught a nice little 2 lber yesterday on a jig.

Bass and crappie are hitting good. I thought that was a beast sunny he hit a nice size lure

Tonight was great: 10 bluegills (7-9"), 3 LMBs (8-10"), and a monster 12" 2 pound yellow bullhead! Bullhead once again swallowed the hook (no suprise there ) but it was only on the roof of the mouth so I tried to get it out for about 2 minutes, eventually gave up and cut the line at the edge of the mouth. I put the fish back and it swam away quickly with no signs of bleeding but I worry about it, do you guys think it'll live since I don't like to hurt those big trophy fish: takes them a while to get that big.

I broke off a 60+ pound fish, he cut me off on our anchor rope
