Fishing season 2k14!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slow weekend in Erie. 9 yellow perch, 1 white perch, 1 Drum, and 2 LMBs (1 was a trophy).

Anyone have any tips for me on this? Want to try to catch a Stonecat (Noturus flavus) in my local creek on rod and reel. Where would be good areas to fish for them and what kind of rig and setup?
 
I wouldn't bother with that your best bet would be to net them. Have one person walk the creek towards you kicking around making noise and then you stand there with what I call a dip net I know theres another name that begins with an S for the net. Just your typical net that fits across the creek in the water and once they're at you lift the net and see what you got

Shallow moving water with a small hook and shrimp, I caught a bunch in front of a dam....

That's what I thought, just pretty large for a sunfish?

not bad size at all but they can reach up to a couple pounds
