Fishing Season 2k15!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my year started off with a bang. Caught most of the cut bait that I will need for 2015 down at the Cumberland City, TN discharge. Wound up with about 70 skipjack and most were hogs. First time that ive made the trip there and I wasnt disappointed.

First fish of the year today. Three 6-8" creek chubs! Can't upload pics.
 
Just wait till you hooked a 12" creek chub. Think them as warm water trout in small creeks. I know a creek that holds some monster creek chubs near me.
 
Some of you guys are making me jealous.

Picked up my first of the year. A little 10-11" Rainbow. Not too much action yet, since it's still pretty cold.

Caught two that were 14" last year, they really do fight like a nice trout at that size. Spring is normally when I catch the biggest ones, also when they look the best with redish heads and spawning tubercles.
 
DHALO Trout Stocking coming up in just under a month in time to start March fly season. Can't wait till things start picking up :headbang2
 
Had two chubs on today but both got off. It was a very comfortable (for winter here) 45 degrees out and partl sunny though

0 for 1 in five hours. Only getting colder here too, might be another month before things pick up.
