Technically it was the last day of 2016. The crappies were pretty thick. Lost a bunch when it hit the bottom of the ice hole.
You went fishing on New Year's Eve?? LOL What do you mean by that last sentence?
Someone get the 2017 thread started, I had the honor of doing it last year, so now it goes to the next person 
When I was pulling the fish threw the hole. They would hit the bottom of the hole and the hook would pop off.
I guess it really depends on how light they're hooked. Or I just don't know how to pull them up.
