Fishless Cycling Please Help!!!!!!!

I am betting this is just an algae bloom. I got it when I first started my tank as well. I would turn off the lights and do a 100% water change and continue the cycle. Though from your readings, if you put a few small fish in with some Seachem Cycle, I would bet your readings would be fine.

The green water is probably a combination of the lights being on 24/7 and maybe the 'cycle' product you were using.

I would also do a 40% water change and continue dosing the Ace Ammonia but try to dose to ONLY 1-2 PPM. The higher ammonia may inhibit the growth of the nitrifying bacteria.

There is an excellent article here that will give you simple and detailed directions on using ammonia for cycling and it also offers extremely helpful answers to common questions.

the tank is almost cycled why start over with something that does not work as well? The water is green because the OP never shuts his lights off (period) and will go away once he shuts his lights off and does some water changes (after the cycle is complete). Its another case of TSS working as advertised. Also beneficial bacteria are not dependent on lights so keep them off and the tank in the dark

I believe that I do have an algae bloom in my tank since I let the light on 24/7... Is is necessary to do some water change at this point or can I just leave it green like that till my tank is cycled? Please advise. Thanks!

The algae bloom shouldn't affect the cycle. The only problem it could cause is a slight ammonia spike when it goes away (millions of little algae decomposing), but won't hurt anything if there aren't fish in there yet.

+1 as stated before

Yesterday I changed 35% and added ammonia to 2ppm... Today I change another 35% and added ammonia to 2ppm plus 40ml Seachem Stability. My question is how many WC do I need to do or this is enough? My tank water is still haven't clear up yet.

turn off the light totally, throw some feeder fishes in there, dont use the u.v yet, just keep changing water, adding ammonia and test the water exactly like before.
When you can take 100% of your old green water out, your tank should be clear up (should not be too long). Don't worry too much, the reason you have lot of algae in your water because of the excess of nitrate. Your ammonia or nitrite was eaten by the bacteria colony and turn it into nitrate. Algae lives on nitrate + light.

Ammonia (or Nitrite) ---> Nitrate (by good bacteria) ---> water change to lower the nitrate level (and because algae also eats on the nitrate too so you don't really want it in there and messing up with your water test reading).

For the pass two days I did 35% water change everyday. This afternoon I did another 50% WC then I took some ready of the water and it turns out like this: From left to right is Ammonia, Nitrite then Nitrade.IMG_0822.JPG
Does anyone knows why is my Nitrate still so high?

Please advise! Thanks!
