Hi sorry its been a while been really busy working not had the chance to update, so with winter coming soon and my girlfriend wanting her dining room back i decided to move the fish into the garage, i had quite a bit 75mm celotex left so i lined the concrete pond with it and put a pond liner in there for now, next year when it warms up il remove liner and do the liquid rubber. So i lined the pond and started to fill it up, and heated the water, i used about 100g from the old pond to top it off. Im also just using my old filters until the overflow pond is finished. Il upload some pics and a video tomorrow. So as it is theres about 1100 litres in the pond, with 100kg of play sand in the bottom, 2x 1200lph filters, 18w uv light, and suprisingly only 800w of heaters which is plugged into a vivarium heat controller but it really hold the heat well. Theres also a 300w oil heater and dehumidifier in the room holding the heat at 22 degrees. Ive been checking my meter and its costing about £2.20 a day in total to run which is not bad just over £60 a month which is better than i though, but thats onoy for the winter months from april to september it should drop a lot. And yes all the moss is real i collected it from a local area, yeah ive decided again the island now as the fish seem to be loving the space and i dont want to block the view of the fish, il upload pics asap
