I'm just not understanding what the manufacturer told you, and to me it just sounds like a way to get you to buy a stand from them, no offense.

Fish seem to have made a full recovery and are in a 120 doing well. I am removing the cracked tank and setting up the new 265 for them today. I'll get some pics up of the pair in the new tank soon.

good to hear George...... I would of had to give you back this male. He is getting big eating everything and is by far the bully of the tank right now out of the 15-20 umbie that are in there. :headbang2

keep us informed and can't wait to see more of them photography skills :headbang2

Well how do you intend to make a perfectly flat surface out of wood? there are going to be high points no matter what but i think this was just a bad batch of glass.
