ok guys i added more stuff to my setup...

i have a hagen glo ho t5 ballast that i retrofitted into my old t8 fixture. Reaching for the on/off switch was kind of a pain and wanted it to be easy for my young kids to turn on and off.. so i found this remote switch that turns on/off my lights via a battery remote controll. works great and only was about 13.00 the 3 prong was 15.00 im only running 39w t5 bulbs and didnt need the 3 prong.

on to the pics.......

very easy to install and works great... it is supposed to have up to 50' of range and will go thru walls and glass....works via radio freq.......

^ thanks guys!

well heres an update. i installed a drain from the sump to drain into the frontyard. i will soon add a pond for that water to go to and just do aquatic plants.. i also added a drinking water filter from the washer which is right behind the left side of the tank. it drips about 5 gallons a day.

and also for JOE M as you can hear the overflows are very quite. IMHO.. i had a old sea clear hob overflow that sounded like someone was flushing a toilet 24/7......

and an overall shot of the tank and fish....... thanks for looking!

if it didnt work...which im sure it didnt.....http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i50/k20dc2r/?action=view&current=2011-02-10_19-53-07_880.mp4

That's awesome. Thanks so much for taking that video. It's really quiet and really makes me feel good about what I'm getting.

Really nice setup too. I wish I had easy water access near mine so I could set up a drip system like that. Thanks again.
