  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine ate crickets and all sorts of warms. I have kept them several times, but the weird thing is, in 8th grade I kept it in a tank with a garder snake! haha but meal warms, they might eat some small earth worms and if its sunny out, some little ants wont hurt to throw in there..

the blue tail and red head is beautiful!

I almost got them at a show a few years ago, then when I set up a tank for them, the vendor stopped carrying them...

I've never seen them this far north in Ohio, but I've caught them in southern OH

Ewurm, I have kept them. They are hard to catch! And sometimes the tale falls off! :D

I was thinking that they kept the nice blue color. The adults are kind of bland. How did you keep them?

You could always keep a look out for Blue Tailed Tree Lizards, Holaspis guentheri. They stay that color and look pretty similar even though they're not a skink.

As a complement I will say its a relatively easy lizard to care for and needs same condicions as tropical anoles;)
