Hey, found this tank.
Only problem its got a crack on the bottom(I'll post a pic)
Just wondering If I'm going to need to replace the whole bottom panel, or if I could just silicone the crack...
Thanks.

You can have a piece of glass cut to the exact interior dimensons and place over the cracked glass. Remove all the interior silicone first and clean out all debree. Lay in the new piece of glass and reseal the whole tank.

I thought I got it but.
Can I get some more clarification please?
Like, do I just get a 72''x24'' panel then lay it over the old panel after I scrape all the silicone away, then silicone it on leaving the broken panel still on?

modest man just replaced a bottom panel on a 210. he removed the bottom trim and broken glass then replaced it with a new piece that cost $200 for the glass panel.

Ok.
Sounds easy enough.
Just use a sharp knife like a box cutter to cut away the silicone, remove old panel, insert new.

How do I remove the trim without braking it?

Yes in theory, but you have to make sure that the new glass is absolutely flush with the old glass. Also, getting a roughly 6' x 2' piece of glass that is 1/2" or thicker into a 6' x 2' hole is going to be very tricky!

Just dismantle the tank and replace the bottom, someone just did a thread on this with a 210 gallon. I am sure he/she would be happy to give you pointers. He/she used tempered glass as a replacement.
