Flagtail Prochilodus - new pickup!

A while back, my lfs had some Prochilodus in their display tank I swear must have been close to 2' long. They're pretty cool fish.
 
Yeah these guys are a little on the expensive side in Australia. At this size they go for 80 AUD, approx 65 USD each. These guys do tend to fight alot, but no tearing at the fins or scale damage fortunately. They are definitely quick as hell, my green aro will dart at them to no aveil. These guys are extremely agile and alert of danger.

Will suck on anything and eat just about anything, they have grown about an inch over 2 months or so.

i had a group of 6 they shoaled around happy for about 1 week then they started fighting killing each other off 1 by 1

best to just keep 1 per tank
 
I had a small one that took a few days to adjust then ate anything, unfortunatally it got sucked up into the fx5 filter :(

These 5 i have had for over 2 months and without to much aggression. Pretty good growth rate and fattening up nicely. Amazing colours and add a different feel to my tank as they utilise all parts of your aquarium.

$50 is a good price in Oz.
