Flagtail Prochilodus - new pickup!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know a friend who is currently housing over 20 flagtails all about the same size. He hasnt reported any deaths to date. It is probably due to size of tank and spread of aggression amongst the pack.

Of course he is looking to downsize his collection. Even a 180G cannot hold so many flagtails.

Amazing fish.
So what are your plans for them as they grow? Once they hit adulthood you won't want more than one in a 180 gal... due to size and aggression towards each other.
I'm sure you'll be able to find some buyers when you're ready to piece them out when they start to get big.

i had 4 together and they beat the crap out of each other seprated them put the 2 passive ones together no problems then the most aggressive one beat up the 2nd most agggressive one, these guys have weird personalitiies
