Interesting! So it's true? There really is a magic number? If they school, they will not kill each other? Is there a hierarchy like that of the tinfoil barbs? I would like them as dithers coz they are even toucher than the bullet-proof tinfoil barbs.
 
I'm a fan of both and house both; If I had to choose I'd have to go with the flagtail though.

My flagtail is always out about swimming around the tank and cleaning all the different surfaces in the tank. Where as my plecos seem to just sit in one place more often than not.
 
Flagtail...just got a baby one myself Thursday in anticipation of my 350 next month.
