he's beautiful!!! it doesn't look like a very good setup for him. he's exposed and has no gravel, not even a simple plant or rock.. thats just my 2cents, but dont listen to me i dont know muck about that type of fish
 
They do get big (~15"), but they grow slow and aren't hard to care for. They are awesome fish and do a great job on algae.

When I got my first one, they were asking $50, but had a big sale. My new one was $35 or 40 from the same place, but they were having a sale again. I think I actually paid $15-20 for them at 2-3". My first one is around 7 or 8" now

ive kept a few in my years of fishkeeping and found this species to be the hardiest fish i kept. in the books they say they max out at 12 inches. mine is 18'' now. and it stopped growing. as they age their colors deepen and intensifies.
