Hi. Does anyone know what this is and what to do? My friend’s koi, and you can clearly see, an entire part of the koi is literally gone due to some sort of disease/ bacteria. It’s absolutely disguisting

Can't see it very well. I can see the mark. What other fish are in the tank/pond with it? Does the holding tank have a viewing panel?

Qt separately and dab the area with methylene blue and dose some triple sulfa. Just IMO.

It’s a pond. Inside there’s another koi, 2 silver arowana and a rtc catfish.

Can get a cheap plastic tote from Walmart. Get some donated media seeded bacteria and get a cheap hob.

Hard to say. An ulcer or wound perhaps.

How big are the other fish? I'm agreeing with others and saying it was likely another fish that did that, the wound may be infected. I'm not overly knowledgeable on wound infection treatment or treatment of diseases, so I'll let others speak on that. I definitely do think you should separate the koi from the other fish.
