Here are some of the pix from my trip to Florida a couple weeks ago.
I hope to be putting together cichlid/fish trips to Florida, California, Texas, Hawaii, and of course SA/CA and Africa SOMEDAY..
The trip should be in the October issue of cichlid news.

Is Ad Konings giving someone the finger? Can't be at me!!!!!

Where exactly is this place located????? Please give me the address through a private message, because I live in Miami, Flordia and i'm intrested.

These places are not open to the public.
2 of them don't even sell fish to private buyers.
They are not licensed or insured to have the public on the grounds, it was a big deal to get us in there.
There is wet cement where people can slip and fall, ponds where people can drown, and whatever else that people can injure themself on when they are not paying attention and not at home.

Some of the guys i was with are big time cichlid dealers, a big time aquarium product owner, and of course Ad Konings is THE cichlid author and photographer.
I would not have been able to go if not for them.
Your best bet is to join your local cichlid or tropical fish club and suggest to them to do local fish farm trip.

Ok, thanks, but do you know of any places open to the public that you went to & that sell's fish, that is worth going to?????

no we just went to 3 places, that are closed to public. I'm working on going to Mosta-frontosa up in central florida.
This trip is going to be in Cichlid News Magazine, so its advertisement and sales for them, so thats part of it, plus we had some big spenders (cichlid dealers, aquarium product owner) so that helped.

Its like Jeff Rapps and Tangled Up in Cichlids, he is not open to the public, but if they bring 10 spenders, and Cichlid News in, i'm sure he would make that exception.

I think there is like a Florida Ornamental Fish Farmers Association or something like that. They would have contact info for those places, check with breeders on Aquabid based in florida.
I think there is more farms up in central florida because the salinity from the ground water is alot less up there.
