Florida gar last one eyeball! Help!

You most likely can not keep a gar with any type of nippy cichlid.. definitely not a flowerhorn ..You're lucky the thing didn't break the tank
Lesson learned... but now I just hope the gar is ok
Hey so doing the water change now and the gar is breathing but in the same spot on the floor as yesterday. Is this behavior normal?
Yah it’s gonna be like that for a while imagine if you lost your eye in a fight you’d be kind of down it took my FH about a month or two to get use to being one eyed and eating normally
Seriously thank u so much for confirming. It's been a disaster after a disaster. Today I came home to a nasty smell in thr basement. The smell of death. I see my 10 gallon where I kept the FH and minnows and the water was cloudy as hell and all fish were dead. The only spare heater I had was like 400 watts and i put it on a timer so it wouldn't over heat but i missed up. 90 something degrees. Disgusting smell.
