Does anyone have any info on this fish? It sound like a great algea eater. Is it considered a coldwater speices? Can it be kept in 72º water?
Not all killifish are predators, their name may be confusing. The name Killi comes from the dutch word meaning "ditch" where they are found in the wild. Most are generaly peaceful.Bottomfeeder;2260294; said:not an algae eater. its a predator just like all other Killifish.

4/5 say they eat algae (among other things)... fishbase only says plant matter without mentioning algae specifically
