Does anyone have any info on this fish? It sound like a great algea eater. Is it considered a coldwater speices? Can it be kept in 72º water?

That would be awesome to catch a fish like that. Instead of going to your LFS just go to the local pond. All right now some moderator is going to tell us that just be careful about catching them and you know the laws. Am I right? I've seen this a bunch of times.

you must have figured out that I'm one of those who usually mentions all that stuff LOL.

as to your original question, they should be fairly adaptable to most aquarium conditions and are said to be great algae control

when i caught those, i had to post pics here just to know what id caught lol

i love the colors

not an algae eater. its a predator just like all other Killifish.
Not all killifish are predators, their name may be confusing. The name Killi comes from the dutch word meaning "ditch" where they are found in the wild. Most are generaly peaceful.
