Was that the very first spot where we spotted the first pbass near the beach area but I decided to look for another spot?
I was wondering the same thing why the guys decided to keep trying that spot for so long

Also, caught a breeding pair today on the far side of the beach near my place. Pics later, caught them when it started raining!

This 15 inch fella fell for an X-rap lure in about 8 inch of water. The X-rap hooks are very easy to take off the fish. This guy has a very nice chance of surviving to eventually live in one of my breeding tanks.
X raps are becoming one of my favs. Theres no PB in CT but there are LMB and some SM.
