JUAN...got something for you to try out that you will just love...I have been blasting fish with these. They are a hybrid lure...soft bodied with a rapala type inner and lip...the sweet part is the tail is segmented and makes the lure swim like a real baitfish...if you are fishing where there is some current you can let it suspend and the water current will move the body of the lure like a fish swimming in place....very cool and very productive! they have them on ebay in various sizes, but I have found 4" and 5" to work very good on med to large bass.......give them a try...they are called megabait "charlie"...here are some pics...they come in various patterns and colors ;) you wont be disappointed at all...even though you like 3 hooks these come with 2 or one depending on size but hooks are oversized and hardened(guaranteed not to bend).

Doesn't STORM Lures make something like that?

they do not work the same...these actually will fool you if you'd see one in the water...also you do not have to even reel for it to give realistic body movements...the storm lures and others are chopped into sections and move almost robotically.....the thing I like most about these is after a quick sweep retrieve when you stop the lure continues forward making the same body motion as a swimming fish...they are really cool as hell....I had 4 bass hit these sitting dead in the water as they suspend and any little current makes them undulate....the big 8"(for musky, pike, ect) are sinking and will rest on the bottom on the treble hooks and fish upright so it looks like a fish sitting just off the bottom with its tail and rear body moving as if it is swimming in place in the water....just try one and you'll be a believer....I have about 8 of these now and use them almost exclusively....I will give ya a everglades test on them in a few months ;)

this is another cool feature...the irridescence is on the hard inner shell so you see it through the body and replicates the look of bait fish "flashing" as they turn.

ok...thats all...not a salesman:D but this is a great producing lure and wanted to share!

The Megabait Charlie appears very interesting.

Worth a try here if I could find it locally.

A hybrid bait for hybrid Cichla!:)

Still at 96?

Unfortunately, yes. The weather has not been cooperating. It's been overcast daily and very windy. Hard to see the fish for my style of fishing. I don't cast unless I see the fish.

And...The competition have been cleaning out the few sites, where I see them on my daily walks/ride around the lake, before I could go back to fish for them.:(
