Yeah I was pretty disappointed when I had to bring him back he was my favorite fish I've had probly my whole life and I've had a lot of different fish including octopus piranhas saltwater sharks but for some reason this was my favorite that's why I want to get some motoros but when I got there I got a bicher and electric blue cichlid which he was selling the bicher for 30 and the cichlid for 13 so I got more than I should of which I should of because of the false info that the guy gave me

i'm no expert on aro's, so i could be wrong, but might want to look at slightly taller than 2 ft for an aquarium. anyone else that knows better that can input?
if you get a female motoro, look at going at least 36 inches wide, if not a full 4 ft. mine is a plywood built 6x4 and 22inches tall, but i don't plan on putting any other fish than rays in it, and even then, i only have 2 retics, looking into some hysterix. one day i might try black rays, but by then i'll be making new tanks for them anyways

I didn't think about that and your probably right ill probably make it 30 inches tall instead this is also my first time building a aquarium how easy is it and do u recommend glass or acrylic I've heard good things about both but I'm leaning towards glass ive also found some good blue prints online for both also which is usually cheaper

Well when I first went there I asked them if they had any Gar because I want one (still do) but he brings me over to a tank saying they are Gar and right under the tank they are listed as pike which they were clearly neither a Gar or pike they were definitely half beaks its ridiculous then another time I go there he tells me there barracuda either he has no idea what they are and trying to get rid of them or he is just really stupid thank god this isn't like my lfs back home in mass its the complete opposite
