Let's get off of rednecks - I'd like to keep my thread clean and open.
The shuttle idea is awesome! I do hope to make it down in time. We'll see.
I'm also interested in seeing lots of exotic plants.... where's good for that?

Awww, c'mon everyone from Georgia is not a redneck. I was born in Atlanta though, so I can't really talk. Let me know if you're gonna stop in at the Atlanta aquarium, if I can meet with you I will, I have an annual pass so I don't pay.

The aquarium is a cool idea - I'll have to see if it fits into the trip.

I'll have to think about that. I know that there are pitcher plants in the Bullcreak Wildlife Management Area between Melbourne and Hollowpaw. There are different air plants but they seem kinda boring. I can mail you some elephant ear bulbs if you like growing things but they get pretty big and you will have to bring them in during the winter.

pitcher plants are neat! I'd love to see them in the natural habitat. Air plants - as in Spanish Moss, or the bromeliads? Sure, PM me on the ee bulbs - they sound great.
what are the predominant plant species in FL in the forests and such? Or is it over run with tropicals (like fish non natives) too?
