to find out if flowerhorns are legal why don't you contact one of the aquarium societies in your area http://fins.actwin.com/dir/clubs.php?c=13. flowerhorns can be very agressive with each other. by the time you raise fry, hopefully get a breeding pair before they kill each other off, and raise those fry to a saleable size it could be more expensive and time consuming then you realize. good luck

there are many different strains. i personally like the red or blue dragon, but have recently found the red monkey, which is ridiculous. the imported strains are more valuable.

OK, will a 75 gal be large onugh for them if i get them as 1"-2" fry then grow the for about a year?
I am getting a new tank about mid next year maybe earlier
hopefully in the 8' range.
