I've found so far that leos are the nippiest of rays (never owned a boesami) and are the worse to house with flowers and tigers. This is not a combination I would recommend unless you had your flower or tiger past the 24" mark at the least.
With flowers and tigers you pretty much need to do everything right off the start or it makes for a very hard recovery after. I've read they loose a good percentage of these rays before they even go out for export so I'm guessing alot must die before we get one and then most of them die after we get them. Species tanks are advisable.I have a flower ray... I've had it for over 3 weeks, and it's on the verge of dying because it refuses to eat anything.
I also keep motoros, and I have no issues with them.
Whatever happens with this ray will be a learning tool for me, as I am doing everything I can to get him to start eating.
Would I ever get another flower ray? Probably not. Unless this one can drastically change my mind.
