Flowerhorn and Jag in the same tank?

Mine has never tried to bite me it knows better lol. As for the flowerhorn living adding fish only helps get it used to other fish. It still may snap as a adult and decide it doesn't want to live with others. With flowerhorns it's a hit or miss on getting them to live with anything.

I'll see how it works with a divider but my hopes are low now.. worst case ill just put the jag back in the 75

Everything should be set up in a week or two as I'm waiting for 2 aquaclear 110 impellers and some more bio media so ill update when there in the tank together! But I first need to go through and clean the three boxes next to the stand -___- I took a peek and saw at lest 5 heaters some pumps/powerheads and tons of air pumps and even an overflow box haha. So ill be cleaning for a while :wall:

My other cichlids hide for the most part because the tank is his and they are basically tenants to him. Just because a cichlid won't touch a feeder doesn't mean it won't rip another fishes face off

+ 1 …..i had a huge male Jag back in the day and he was so docile it was almost funny. But guess what would happen when another fish even nudged him on his side? He would go ballistic and in one bite from his massively expanding mouth would take dozens of scales off of another fish. When I would see another cichlid in the tank going near him I would say to myself, "Don't do it, Here comes the snow globe" as the scales of that fish were about to be floating all around the tank.

Only way to find out is to do it. They're your fish, just know the risk and try to be prepared. I had a massive female Jag live with a Red Terror for years in a 75, even bred a couple times. Woke up one morning to a dead Red Terror with no warning.
 
Thanks guys, I was going through the boxes when I first got the tank just to see whats in there so i made a creepy find. I found a voodo doll I believe.. At first i thought it was a childs toy yet theres a metal rod in the back of it. I then thought it was a christmas ornament yet then the metal rod is stabbed right through the back and points down. So I'm looking at this thing and it has a cloth glued to its mouth. Lol i threw that thing out my car so fast. Seems like the guy i got the tank from needed to shut someone up...
