Flowerhorn blood parrot breeding project

So I finally let the female parrot out of net divider while I supervised and it didnt go well at all haha my male seems to be hyper aggressive and wouldn't stop striking her and chasing her until she couldn't move an inch out of the top corner, so not a great attempt, I think he might need a female his size or bigger, any suggestions?
Also I took the blood parrot out of the tank because theres no way she would of made it through the night
Can you divide tank and have a hole she can get through but he can’t? Or you could try dividing tank with no hole and let them get more used to one another.
I have a divider for the tank but its not the best because the tank is a bow front, and the flowerhorn charges the divider until he could get through, i can try leaving them seeing eachother abit longer and see how that works but he doesnt look like he wants anything to do with breeding , he was taking full on bites out of her

Should work even with a bow front I believe. You can always put grids together with zip ties.

I'll try looking into a better divider like That, I'll give the parrot one last chance, i don't think this female is the brightest though, gave her more hiding spots where should could fit and he couldn't and she didn't even try and hide, worst case ill try a female texas
