No, crushed corals help to increase the pH level of the water..
To help increase your flowerhorn's kok, give it lots of proper love & care.. & not forgetting frequent water changes(maybe 50% water change weekly) & feeding a balanced diet..

Very informative! Crushed coral increases the PH of the water which indirectly helps the KOK increase since the KOK is basically calcium and fat. Try posting the question in the a new thread or read up old threads if you want more help
