Hi, i have a 6 inch flowerhorn and it used to be very healthy until i changed its tank into a tank with better filtration. I've noticed that it doesn't gobble at its food (dried bloodworms) anymore and it doesn't look very active either. I've also noticed that it keeps on ****ting and its **** takes a really long time to come out.
I was just wondering if it has constipation due to the dried bloodworms and how should i help it? Or is it that i should give it a few more days to adjust to the tank?
I also offered it 1 live ghost shrimp and it killed the shrimp but wouldn't eat it, so does anybody know how to help the flowerhorn regain its apetite? (by the way the waer quality of its tank is very good).

now it doesnt even chase after the ghost shrimp... and its sh n it is really long and it just doesn't stop and its stomach is swelling a bit even though he hasn't eaten for 2 days :(

I wonder if its hex? But the poo looks yellowish except that the poo stays on for a super long time and it makes a super long line of poo. And the hump on its head has significantly decreased... urgh why isn' it eating?!

zzzzz...... does anybody know why flowerhorn's **** can stay on the flowerhorn for hours? its yellowish whitish and my flowerhorn doesn't have any appetite:( and its hump has grown noticeably smaller. urgghhhh what did i do?

White stringy poop is almost always internal parasites - one cure is Jungle Parasite clear w/ Prazziquantel. Brown stringy poop is usually dietary issues like constipation.
Fish should have 3 types of different foods but even that can't help if the fish is overfeed. Peas are natures laxatives for fish if they will eat them. Garlic is a preventive for internal parasites not a cure - almost all cichlid pellets contain garlic.
