Dwarf and redeye. Both could be in groups in a 29 and are small. Need very clean water.Any of them full fresh?

Thanks I’ll look into for a few months.Dwarf and redeye. Both could be in groups in a 29 and are small. Need very clean water.
No not really, it's just that it would get bored of the mirror is all.Just curious, what if I were to keep the mirror in the tank 24/7. Would it stress the fish out too much and lower immune system or something?

Any suggestions on a pleco or other armored fish to add with my flowerhorn to keep algae growth from spreading everywhere. I’m just lazy and don’t want to scrape it does a lot every month or so and thinking a smaller pleco or something like that could do the job for me a bit

I don’t have an algae problem at the moment I’m just wanting something to help eat away the algae if I ever do get an algae problemwhatRocksor said. Excessive algae growth are probably from excessive nitrates. Test your water. Any time nitrates are over 20ppm have a water change. A pleco is not the answer. They won't do much for algae unless the food they require isn't provided and their bioload may be as bad as the flowerhorn's if not worse depending on the species. They are pooping machines.
Sounds like you want an excuse to buy another fish. Do waterchanges and get an algae scraper.I don’t have an algae problem at the moment I’m just wanting something to help eat away the algae if I ever do get an algae problem
