What is the difference between the two? I don't know much about either. I thought they might be one in the same.

A SB/Bonsai have a short body like a parrot. A kirin/killin is a blood parrot with flowerhorn colors and pearls. If your confused still, a kirin/killin will have that deformed mouth of a blood parrot and has that blood parrot shape head. While a SB/Bonsai will have the normal flowerhorn head.tooth517;4426246; said:What is the difference between the two? I don't know much about either. I thought they might be one in the same.

if it resembles V its a female and if its a U the its a male. to make things easier.
OO male
O female. or it maybe the opposite. if its about 3 inches then it should be easier to tell.
males have longer dorsal fin and female has a rounder dorsal fin. so by the picture it may be a female but i can be wrong.
