Flowerhorn ID Please

If there is one fish in this hobby that has stirred up things.... its the flowerhorn. That being due to the fact of all the cross breeding to get the different bloodlines out there. That being said.... the reason i asked for an ID is that they are harder to determine as there seems to be a new name everyday for a FH.

If you were educated about your fish you wouldn't be asking us to I.D. them.
Maybe ZZ cross bloodline? At least theres some FH in it.Cheers

A 180 for 1 dovii is a little over-exaggerated.
This fish definatly has FH in the bloodline. Id guess barred midas/ZZ

It is not a flowerhorn it is some type of barred amphilophus. The most common barred amphilophus around is usually a midas but since you don't know what yours is it could be anything. If it looks like a flowehorn to you that is because midas and red devils were used in the beginning stages of flowerhorn. Nowadays if you find a "flowerhorn" that looks like a purebred cichlid it's probably a first generation cross. Any quality flowerhorn has been bred for generations and shouldn't resemble the purebred fish that were used to create it that much.
