Another problem with him is if you make any sudden movement he darts all over the tank and smashing whatever is in his path. I would like to grow one out from 2"-3" long, but being a noob I don't have the eye to pick out a good young one. I will probably try to grow one out down the line.

if the parents look good more than likely the frys dont fall far from the tree

Yeah I'm leaning towards both, but I'm about out of time on the second one. I reserved the first one though. Going to take half a day off of work tommorrow and go and pick it up.

I am sure that even the most seasoned fish keeping vet has that day when he encounters something rediculous that makes him or her feel like a noob lol!
