i catch My FH scratching itself a few times a day on ornaments etc... doesn't seem to happen often.

he's looks healthy, active, eats like a pig, temp at 84, water paramaters are where they should be... I do WCs every week.

the only thing is my PH is still kinda high at 8 (driftwood didn't really help too much).

should i be worried or is this normal?

as long as theres no egg looking thing over the body, its fine. mine does that all the time. heck it even does back flips. try to drop the temperature down just a bit. if the water is too warm they tend to scratch.

haha yea, mine does back flips when he chases my fingers. i'll try lowering the temp just a bit and see if that changes things.

i dont know about your flowerhorn but my flowerhorn like the temp about 78-79. but my other fishes get stressed. lol

i dont think theres anything wrong. picture would be nice. a close shot

if worse comes to worse it can be a itch, but its always curable.

well-that was your question."should i be worried?"in any case, your fh may have crabs and thats why its itching.bring it to a doctor.:Dand keep it away from street women for now on.

okay, ive had my fun,it could be signs of parasites/ich.boost temp and add aquarium salt.
